The Daymark By Star Light
A couple of weeks ago we were coming back from Dartmouth fairly late so decided to make a stop at the Daymark and do a little night photography.
I had recently bought a new remote for my camera, so this seemed like the ideal time to test it out and experiment. These were the results...

This second shot, was supposed to be neat star trails but I didn't leave a long enough interval between shots for the mirror in the camera. I should have known better, but as I said, I was only experimenting with new equipment and I quite like how this turned out!

Pebble Formations...
Ok, so I didn't find them like this but I quite liked the concept so thought I would give it another go!

Beach Combing
A few shots from a stroll along the beach. Every time we go, we find new things - I love it!
The centre image is a ball of Common Whelk eggs and I'm sure there will be more pebble feel to come...

Summer is on its way...
The other day, I decided to take a slightly different route down to the seafront and I hadn't realised just how much the leaves and flowers have come out already! I can't wait until the summer and everywhere is green, it will make such a nice change from living in urban Leeds.

Where The Wild Things Are (Haldon Forest)...
I was on my way to Exeter on Saturday morning and as I drove by Haldon Forest, the mist was so thick I had to stop and take a few shots. It was so surreal, it looked like a movie set from 'The Mist' ...I just needed the outline of a stag among the trees to make the shots complete!
Haldon Forest reminds me of 'Where The Wild Things Are' which was my favourite childhood book. I absolutally love this place!
