WEDDING: Lauren & Jordan - Stokeinteignhead, Devon

Lauren & Jordan wed at their local church in Stoke-In-Teignhead, near Teignmouth.

Lauren's dress was beautiful - simple and elegant. Although her bouquets were arranged by a local florist, Lauren had chosen to make use of the hydrangeas in their garden and these were incorporated in so many aspects of the day - her bouquet, hair, buttonholes, table and church decorations.
The reception venue had been decorated by the couple with the help of their friends and it looked fantastic and their wedding cake had been made and decorated by Jordan's mother (she isn't a professional but she had done a fantastic job)!

PORTRAITS: Little Theo

Having been asked to photograph Ellie and Andrew's first child, Ollie, back in February 2011 they were so pleased with their photographs that I was invited back to photograph their second arrival, the beautiful (but sleepy) baby Theo.

Its lovely to have clients who come back time again, especially for such important events in their lives. I feel very privileged and it is fantastic to have such an amazing job!

WEDDING: Rachael & Bart - Buckland House, North Devon

Rachael & Bart chose to get married at Buckland House, a stunning country house set amongst 280 acres of grounds in the North Devon countryside.

The couple had hired Buckland House for a week as they had so many friends and family members traveling from abroad to join them on their special day, especially as Bart (the groom) is half Australian, half Italian.

There were some great details - the table plan was built from Lego (also a fond favourite of mine), there was a washing line in the marquee for all of the ladies' hats and the cake (made by the groom's mother) was decorated with Marmite and Vegemite jars dressed as bride and groom!
